Coach Mark Hughs of Stoke City will be banking luck ahead of their encounter against league leaders Manchester United in the English Premiership.
Stoke City have won two of their 14 Barclays Premier League meetings with Manchester City (D5 L7), and one of the last 12 with Sergio Aguero having netted five goals in his five league appearances against Stoke.
Today, Hughs will be hoping for a turn around in fortunes as they file out at the Britannia Stadium. The Potters have lost just one of their seven BPL encounters with Man City (W1 D5), although that defeat came last time out (1-4 in February).
Stoke have lost just two of their last nine league matches, winning five and drawing two. They have also kept five clean sheets in their last seven while Manchester City have managed two clean sheets in their last nine top-flight matches after keeping six in a row before that.
Kevin De Bruyne has been directly involved in 10 goals in as many league appearances this season (four goals, six assists) and will be hoping to score again.
Another interesting fixture will see Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo in action against Noewich City. Nine of the last 10 league meetings between Watford and Norwich City at Vicarage Road have seen both teams score with Norwich having scored in 22 successive league encounters against the Hornets.
Watford have already matched their number of wins in their last BPL campaign in 2006/07 (five) and are one away from matching their tally in 1999/00 (six).
Troy Deeney has scored in four of his last five league matches, including each of the last three. No Watford player has ever scored in four successive BPL appearances. He and Odion Ighalo have combined to create 23 goalscoring chances for each other in top flight this season, more than any other pair of players.
